Our Classic High School program is the traditional exchange program, where you are placed with a caring family somewhere in Germany. It is the perfect program if you are looking for a genuine German exchange experience. After being paired with the right host family for you, the team will enrol you in a local high school.
Your future host family can live anywhere around Germany. You may experience the German way of life near the larger cities of Berlin, Hamburg or Munich, in the countryside around vast fields or somewhere along the coast in Northern Germany. You will be sure to have a unique and unforgettable experience of this diverse country.
You can enrol in the Classic High School program in Germany for 6 weeks, 2, 2.5, 3 Months, a Semester or an Academic Year.
Classic High School details
Age of students: 15–17 years
Departure: January, August, October, November, December
Language requirements: Basic German knowledge is preferred
Visa: Yes, subject to program length
Area request: Yes
Soft Landing Camp: Yes, in Mannheim at an additional fee
School day: Normally from 8 to 15
Subjects: There are both compulsory subjects and electives
